Have been into all different aspects of crafting my whole life it seems - my fav programme as a child was Blue Peter when they had their crafting sessions on so collecting empty shoe boxes, sticky back plastic and all manner of bits and pieces started young with me! Have tried candle making, glass etching, glass painting, sugarcraft, tapestry and cross stitch with various levels of success!! Started making cards as a child then stopped and started back up again about 12 years ago when new products started appearing. No time for any other crafts now! Only reason I learnt how to turn a computer on was because I wanted to try out the crafting cd's a certain lady supplies! Crafting is my escape! I have sons a plenty and a hubby but no daughters so the house is overflowing with testosterone! I leave them their sport/car/action film talk/programmes and play fighting and escape to the relevant calm of my crafing space and chill! (Though don't know that calm is an accurate way to describe my craft room when it always looks like a major whirlwind has visited and left devastation in its wake!)
